Today, Woollahra institution Buzo relaunches as Jersey Rd. Bistro, with the new name reflecting the transition from Traditional Italian Trattoria to Modern Australian Bistro.
It’s a new name for a new chapter. Head Chef Jason Dean, formerly of Bentley, Est. and London’s two Michelin-starred The Greenhouse, together with Sous Chef Chris Cho, formerly Oscillate Wildly, has gradually evolved the food from its Italian roots to a modern bistro style menu, featuring Australian producers and ingredients and modern cooking techniques. Expect lighter, more relaxed dishes at affordable neighborhood prices.
Jersey Rd. Bistro is open Tuesday to Saturday for dinner from 5pm and on Sundays for brunch from 10am-3pm.
