After a brief hiatus, Paper Bird’s weekend brunch is back, with a contemporary East-Asian inspired menu. Launching on April 7, the Potts Point bar and restaurant will replace the former breakfast offering with a series of new dishes, along with extended opening hours.
Brunch will make a return from 10am – 3pm every Saturday and Sunday, with a broadly Eastern Asian menu encompassing the best bits of Korea, China and Japan. Developed by chefs and co-owners Ben Sears and Eun Hee An, highlights include a Pork katsu sando, Pipis with miso butter and rye toast, XO arancini and Crab wontons with chilli and black vinegar.
Licensed from 10am, co-owner Ned Brooks has created a drinks list designed especially for the early hours, such as the Korean Bloody Mary and Campari Iced Filter. Rounding out the menu is Brooks 85-bin wine list, that favours natural varieties, along with a choice of sake and craft beer. Coffee comes courtesy of local specialists, Single O.
Paper Bird’s new brunch menu launches April 7 and is offered all weekend from 10am-3pm.
